Decapitation and the ruining of the heart are both things that will kill Julian.

There is no way to die from starvation. Though, a starved vampire is like a starved wolf. It will go after anything and everything until it is either brought down by something stronger or sated.

Holy items do nothing to him. Contrary to popular belief vampires are not evil, just kind of dead. And because they are not evil, items that are used for good don't do anything to him. He can wear a cross, bless himself with holy water, and walk into a church.

He can't fly or turn into animals, though he does have the heightened abilities.

He can plant thoughts and suggestions into a person's head, though strong willed people he has a harder time doing this with.

He doesn't sleep in a freezer (see the new show moonlight if your asking 'what?!'), or a coffin, and doesn't need dirt from his home town. He sleeps in a bed with very expensive sheets, thankyouverymuch.

He can eat and drink, though in small quantities. And while he gets nothing from it, it at least helps with the pretense of human.

Sunlight doesn't phase him much. While you won't see him in direct sunlight if he can help it, it's more because it aggravates his heightened sight than because he'll turn into a human size torch.

These things do not reflect Sebastian's vampire traits. Just like there can and are different types of werewolves, there are different types of vampires. Not all rules apply to everyone. These here apply to Julian and Julian only.
